Joint Privacy Policy: Finance in NZ & Living in NZ

How we collect, use, and protect your personal information under the Privacy Act 2020, Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, and Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2009.

    Introduction

NetworkG Partners Limited (FSP1010947) operates two distinct advisory services:

    • Finance in NZ (financeinnz.co.nz) – Financial advice services authorised by Link Financial Group 2022 Limited (FSP1004590)
    • Living in NZ (livinginnz.co.nz) – Immigration advisory services

This joint privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information across both services in accordance with the:

    • Privacy Act 2020
    • Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 (FMCA)
    • Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2009
    • Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009 (AML/CFT)

    Data Separation Between Services

We maintain separate CRM and database management systems for financial and immigration services to ensure your sensitive data remains isolated and protected.

    • Financial advice records are stored separately from immigration advisory records
    • Each service operates with dedicated data management protocols
    • Access controls ensure staff only access data relevant to their service area
    • Regular audits verify data separation compliance

    Internal Referrals Between Services

Information is not automatically shared between our immigration and financial advisers. We will only share your data internally if you provide specific, documented consent.

If you choose to use both our financial and immigration services:

    • You will be asked to sign a separate consent form for any internal data sharing
    • You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting either service
    • No internal referral incentives exist between our service divisions
    • Each adviser maintains separate professional obligations

    Information We Collect

We collect personal information to provide mortgage and immigration advice, and to meet our obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009, the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act 2003, and the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013.

    This may include:

    • Personal identification (name, date of birth, address, contact details)
    • Financial information (income, expenses, assets, liabilities)
    • Employment details and income verification
    • Credit history and credit score
    • Property information
    • Identity verification documents (passport, driver's licence, proof of address)
    • Immigration status and visa details (where applicable)

    Where We Collect Information From

We collect the personal information we need to provide you with financial advice and to meet our legal obligations. Most of this information is provided directly by you.

We may also collect information about you from the following sources:

    • Your employer — for income verification.
    • Your accountant or financial adviser — for financial documentation.
    • Lenders — for application status and loan information.

Where we collect personal information about you from someone other than you (as listed above), the Privacy Act 2020 — including Information Privacy Principle 3A — requires us to take reasonable steps to ensure you are aware, as soon as reasonably practicable, of the collection and its purpose, who is collecting and holding it, whether it is authorised or required by law, and your right to access and correct it. This policy, together with our Public Disclosure Statement and the Authority and Declaration you sign at the start of your engagement, is intended to meet that requirement.

We only collect information that is necessary for providing advice or meeting our regulatory requirements. You can request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time by contacting us.
